Police IG Says Tambuwal's Security Withdrawn Due to Defection?

Going by news reports on the internet it seems the Inspector-General of police, has confimed that the security detail of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has been withdrawn because of his defection from the ruling political party - PDP to the newly formed APC.

The Speaker's position in the House is also shaky until the Court resolves whether he can defect to another party and retain his position as Speaker of The House that derives from the ticket of his former party.

The Speaker's current party, APC, is in the minority in the House.
