The Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has just convicted , former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, finding him guilty of the N7.1B fraud with which he was charged.
The court reserved judgement to later today from December 2nd and sentenced the former Governor to 12 years in prison. The former governor was charged alongside his company, Slok Nigeria Limited and a former associate. Read it at thePunch.
