Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Emir of Kano, has been dethroned

UPDATE: Barely 24 hours after his dethronement, Sanusi has been offered the position of by the Governor of Kaduna State - El Rufai.

The erstwhile Governor  of the Central Bank of Nigeria, whose life dream, allegedly, has been to become an Emir was just removed with the required consent of the Emirate's Executive Council.
