According to Businessday, the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has vowed to take mobilise the labour force to fight the hike in electricity tariff by the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC).
The move is criticised as an "adamant desire" to further impoverish Nigerians during this pandemic period "in spite of the resolution of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and even the direct orders of Mr. President ".
