An inspector of Police, Adadu Innocent had on Thursday during a protest in Lagos brutalised a journalist with Punch newspaper, following the incident, the State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered the detention and orderly room trial of the inspector of police.
The photo journalist with The Punch newspaper, Olukayode Jaiyeola was covering the protest organised by the Coalition for Revolution, to express displeasure over the general state of the country, including the hike in petroleum price etc, on October 1.
