DCP Frank Mba says that FSARS can't be scrapped because of current crimes rate in the country -

DCP Frank Mba, the public relations officer of the police force had in an Instagram live video chat with Azeez Fashola, Nigerian artiste with stage name "Naira Marley", said that the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, a special arm of the Force, cannot be scrapped because of the ongoing fight against crimes in the country.

Mba said the Force is currently reforming the operations of SARS officers nationwide to curtail their excesses and encouraged Nigerians to take video recordings of SARS operatives who abuse their fundamental human rights as long as it is safe to do so. Naira Marley who had planned a rally against SARS on Tuesday morning, however cancelled the demonstration as he is in affirmation to Mba's statement.
