Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is one of the two female candidates for WTO DG

Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala who is Nigeria’s candidate for the position of the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), has been selected as one of the two female candidates to proceed to the final stage in the race to lead the Geneva-based global trade body, WTO.

Ngozi's other counterpart in the race is South Korea’s Yoo Myung-hee. Sources at Geneva that were familiar with the matter have disclosed this as quoted by Bloomberg.
