NHRC submits Panel's Report to the PSC, requests it's implementation immediately

The report of the Presidential Investigation Panel on Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigerian Police, has been submitted to the Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Mr. Musliu Smith by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), for immediate implementation.

Tony Ojukwu Esq., the Executive Secretary of NHRC, while submitting the report, expressed confidence in the ability of the PSC to ensure an effective implementation of the report and raise the hope of Nigerians that truly “Police is your friend”, a maxim that some Nigerians have described as a mirage.
