Mrs Folusho Adelekan, the National Programme Officer of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, disclosed on Tuesday that Nigeria has been ranked as the highest in drug use prevalence rate in the world.
Mrs Folusho in Abuja, at a sensitisation workshop on Drug Abuse and Rape, organised by Christabels Initiatives and facilitated by the National Assembly Joint Committee on Drugs and Narcotics, made it known that the nation accounted for 14.3 per cent as against 5.3 per cent of the entire global community.
