"Soldier kept dancing while shooting at peaceful flag bearing Protesters," Petitioner reveals

Dabira Ayuku, who said she participated in the #EndSARS protest at the Lekki tollgate, has narrated how soldiers and policemen allegedly opened fire on and killed the Nigerian flag-bearing protesters on the night of October 20.

Dabira in a petition she submitted to the Lagos State Panel of Judicial Inquiry probing the October 20 tollgate shooting, wrote,  “The soldiers were asking people to run, whilst they shot at them. I remember a particular soldier that kept dancing whilst he shot.” Dabira further narrated how the soldiers kept shooting at the #EndsARS Protesters until a presumed Senior Officer came in and asked them to stop, she also revealed the number of dead and injured casualties she witnessed as the shootings went on for about 45 mins.
