UN Watch is currently monitoring Nigeria's Army after it admitted being present at the Lekki Toll-gate shootings

UN Watch, the only NGO accredited with the United Nations organisation for monitoring human rights across the world, is currently following the Lekki-Toll gate shootings. In a tweet on its official Twitter handle, the UN watch wrote, "Nigeria admits to mobilizing its army against peaceful protesters last week, killing dozens."

The UN Watch in the same tweet, further questioned why Nigeria is a member of the UN Human Rights Council, and tagged Veronica Michelle Bachelet, the former President of Chile and current UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
