Larry King dies at 87



The news of the death of legendary TV personality, Larry King, has been revealed on King’s official Twitter account by his representatives, Ora Media. No official cause of death has yet been announced although King was hospitalised at the beginning of the month for contracting COVID-19.

Toke Makinwa reveals her new man, Tuoyo



It looks like Toke Makinwa, popular media person and businesswoman, is taken as she is reportedly in Chelsea London at the moment, spending quality time with Tuoyo, a handsome businessman who is said to be an Itsekiri fitness expert.

Toke and Tuoyo  were reportedly sighted at first, when they took a baecation to Turkey together in November 2020. She teased her followers with photos of his hand and leg but never a full photo of him or one of them together until today, when Tuoyo shared a photo of them together and Toke reposted on her Instagram story.

"I'll have my kids through artificial insemination if I don't find love - Alex Unusual"


Alex Amuche, a Big Brother Naija star, popularly known as Alex-Unusual, took to Instagram to share some of the qualities she will be looking out for in her partner, says she would  have her kids through artificial insemination, if she can't find love.

Alex shared a video of a conversation she had with her friends on Snapchat, disclosed that she can't marry a short man. She said that if love doesn't come her way, she will have her kids through artificial insemination. She also revealed that the last time she was in a relationship was in 2018.

Rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black granted clemency by President Trump


President Donald Trump in his final hours in the office, has reportedly granted clemency to rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black.

Lil Wayne, 38,  pleaded guilty last month to possessing a loaded, gold-plated handgun when his chartered jet landed in Miami in December 2019. He faced a sentence of up to 10 years in prison having previously served eight months in jail in New York. While Kodak Black, 23, is in federal prison for making a false statement in order to buy a firearm. He was sentenced to 46 months in prison on federal weapons charges in 2019. Trump in an official White House statement released late Tuesday night, issued 73 pardons and commuted the sentences of 70 additional individuals with Lil Wayne and Kodak Black on the list.

David Barral becomes first Footballer ever bought with Bitcoin


David Barral, former Real Madrid B and Levante striker,  has become the first-ever player to be purchased using Cryptocurrency, as he officially signed for Spanish third division team, DUX Internacional de Madrid, on Tuesday January 19, in a deal funded entirely through the use of bitcoin. 
 
The transfer fee is yet to been disclosed with the deal yet to be acknowledged by authorities. The club owned by footballers Borja Iglesias and Thibaut Courtois, shared a statement on its social media pages saying, "David Barral new player of DUX Internacional de Madrid, welcome to the infinite club! He becomes the first signing in history in cryptocurrencies. Thanks to Criptan, our new sponsor, for making it possible."

Messi handed a two-game match ban for punching an opponent at the super cup final



33-year-old Argentine player, Lionel Messi has been handed a two-match ban after he was shown a red card in the final minute of extra-time, as he swang his arm at striker, Asier Villalibre after they  were beaten 3-2 by Athletic Bilbao. He was sent off for the first time ever in his senior Barcelona career in the Spanish Supercopa final against Athletic Bilbao last Sunday.

The Referee, Gil Manzano had missed the incident initially but after a VAR review, he showed Messi a straight red card for violent conduct. The Royal Spanish Football Federation's competition committee met on Tuesday and deemed the challenge to be worthy of a two-game suspension.

Following a comment by a fan accusing Jennifer Lopez  of having a face full of botox, she has responded denying having botox or ever doing surgery.

The superstar responded saying, "LOL thats just my face! I have never done Botox or any injectables or surgery!! Just saying. Get you some JLO BEAUTY and feel beautiful in your own skin! Lori Harvey and Michael B Jordan's new relationship reportedly a business deal to change his image about black women



Following a report that Michael B Jordan is in a relationship with Lori Harvey, American blogger, Ashley Germon of 'Gossip In The City',  has alleged that it isn't real but just a deal to change his image among black women so as to promote a movie.

Michael B Jordan has been known to date only white women so much so that there was a rumour that he doesn't date Black women and he had to grant an interview to dispute this. Ashley took to Twitter to say that Jordan and Harvey's relationship is just a business deal and Lori Harvey has a deal with The Shade Room for exclusive images of them together.
