Nigerians blast President Buhari for disabling comments on his tweets

President Muhammadu Buhari disabled the comment section of his tweets, this has caused some Nigerians on Twitter  to blast him over such decision, some of which accused him of trying to shut Nigerians up from free expressions against bad governance.

The President restricted comments to his tweets from January 15, 2021, but became noticeable when many Nigerians wanted to react to the appointment of Service Chiefs announced on the President’s handle. Only those mentioned in the tweet can comment. With this, many Nigerians on Twitter can no longer express their grievances or support Government policies via the president’s handle, hence their anger towards the President's decision.
