The National Universities Commission (NUC) has directed that varsities ib tge the country reopen on January 18th 2021 following the Academic Staff Union of Universities' strike for about 10 months which was suspended on December 23 2020.
in compliance with the directive of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19. Officers on Grade Level 12 and below are to remain at home for a period of five weeks as earlier directed by the Federal Government. The universities are also to safeguard lives by strictly adhering to the extant safety protocols and guidelines of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
