The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), has expressed readiness to return to class but warned that it's workers in states indebted to workers up to four months’ salaries won't resume.
The Union through a Statement by it's Secretary-General, Mike Ene, said since teachers had wasted about five months at home because of COVID-19, they would return to classes as they had known how to take precautions. But teachers, either in primary and secondary schools, owed four months salary in some states have been asked to stay at home in such states.
