Following WhatsApp new terms which sparked criticism and caused it's users to move to Telegram, a rival message application (App.) of the Facebook-owned App. WhatsApp on Tuesday reassured it's users of privacy on it's messaging App.
Facebook executive, Adam Mosseri, who heads Instagram, said in a tweet that there was “a lot of misinformation” about an update to terms of service regarding an option to use WhatsApp to message businesses. "The policy update does not affect the privacy of your messages with friends or family in any way,” Mosseri said. WhatsApp in a blog post said, “We can’t see your private messages or hear your calls, and neither can Facebook."
