48 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria, total cases now 162,641

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), has announced 48 new cases of COVID-19, recorded in Nigeria on Monday, March 29, 2021.

According to  the health agency, Lagos recorded 13 new cases, the highest for the day. Other states with new cases include Kaduna-7, Nasarawa-7, Kano-6, Kwara-5, Ondo-4, Akwa Ibom-3, and Osun-3. Nigeria now has a total of 162,641 confirmed cases. 150,466 patients have been discharged so far with 2,049 deaths recorded.
