Breaking: Nigerians earn bragging rights as Super Eagles win Benin republic's Squirrels in the AFCON match

Super Eagles haves defeated Benin Republic 1-0 in the matchday 5 of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers at the Charles de Gaulle stadium in Porto-Novo today, Saturday March 27. This is following a late goal score from Paul Onuachu.

The victory means that the Eagles ended Benin’s eight-year unbeaten home record, which stretched back to 2013. It is also the Super Eagles first victory in over a year.
