According to the governor of Kaduna state, Nasir ElRufai, lack of cooperation by Northwest Governors is the reason for the festering banditry and kidnapping in the zone.
He said this in an interview with theBritish Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Hausa Service. El Rufai concludes that" I want a situation where security outfits will launch a coordinated war agaibst them by goibg into the forests to bomb their hideouts once and for all. If not, anything short of that will not end the current security situation".
