Ghanian actress, Akuapem Poloo has been granted bail

Ghanaian Actress Rosemond Brown, best known as Akuapem Poloo, who was convicted and sentenced to three months in prison, over nude photo of herself she shared on social media to mark her son's 7th birthday, has been granted ¢80,000 bail by an Accra High Court. Many people had signed a bill demanding that she be freed.

 

The court granted her bail on Wednesday,  April 21, with two sureties to be justified. As part of her bail condition, Poloo, has to report to the case investigator every two weeks. She is also supposed to deposit her passport with the registrar of the court, and will only travel with the express permission of the court.
