Just In: 3 of the abducted kaduna Varsity students have been killed by bandits

Bandits have killed three of the abducted students of  Greenfield University, Kasarami in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, a privately-owned institution, located along the Kaduna-Abuja Highway.

Some unspecified numbers of students and a staff of the university were kidnapped by gunmen on Tuesday night. The bandits later made contact with the parents and demanded N800 million ransom for the release of the students. The state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, who confirmed the incident, said the remains of the students were found close to the university today.
