The Kaduna State University (KASU) has denied reports claiming it raised the tuition fee for non-indigenes to N500,000, saying it is still being deliberated on.
The report had said that the institution increased its fees from N24,000 and N26,000 to N150,000 and N500,000 for indigenes and non-indigenes respectively. Adamu Bargo, the spokesman of the varsity, in a statement, dismissed the figures circulating on social media as “false”. He also disclosed that although the tuition fees would be reviewed upward, the management of the school is yet to announce the new figures.
