NBA to investigate alleged assault on Security guard by the CCT Chairman at Bannex plaza, Abuja

Following the assault scandal involving the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), Danladi Yakubu Umar, on a security guard at  Bannex plaza, Abuja, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has announced that it will be investigating the matter.

The NBA in a statement released by its spokesman Dr. Rapulu Nduka on Thursday April 1, said it will carry out an investigation to determine whether Umar’s conduct was unbecoming of a member of the legal profession, adding that the association  will ensure that appropriate action is taken to address the occurrence.
