NCDC records 67 new cases of COVID-19, discharged additional 65, total now 164,147

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has discharged additional 65 people after testing negative to the COVID-19 virus following treatment in the country. It also announced 67 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria recorded on April 23. While total confirmed cases are now 164,147.

The break down of cases recorded are, Lagos-26, Kaduna-11, Akwa Ibom-8, Rivers-8, Ogun-5, Kano-3, Osun-3, FCT-2, Plateau-1. 154,304  patients have so far been discharged, with 2,061 recorded deaths.
