President Buhari to attend ECOWAS Summit in Ghana on Saturday

The meeting is for the mid-year summit and 59th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS. At the meeting, the Heads of State and Government will receive a report on ECOWAS institutional reforms, single currency programmes and a memorandum on the proposed mechanism of rotation of ECOWAS Member States’ candidature to the Chairmanship of the African Union, among others. 

Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan will present a report. Mali will not be represented as the country was recently suspended due to a military coup.
