Resumption of schools in Kaduna state has been postponed by the state government indefinitely

Governor Nasir El-Rufai made the announcement at a stakeholders meeting attended by members of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), as well as professional and community-based associations on Monday June 26.

Meanwhile Traditional Ruler of Jaba Chiefdom in the Jaba local government area of Kaduna State, Gyet Maude, has reportedly been kidnapped by bandits.  His brother, Anthony Maude said the first class traditional ruler was kidnapped on his farm aat Gitata community in Nasarawa State.
