Banks and shops on Gado Nasco Road now closing due to election result tension

Banks and shops on Gado Nasco Road are closing their doors to customers for the day right now.

Shortly after the former minister Orusbebe spoke against the election results from Kano State on the floor of the Election Result Collation Centre - ICC in Abuja, arguements started among the many customers waiting in long queues at the banks and ATMs for money. Some supported his passionate speech while others condemned his conduct on world TV. This increased the tension in the atmosphere and immediately led to the closed banks and shops to avert violence. Hoping the tension does not escalate further.
