Police plead with criminals on social media to take a break from committing crimes and stay at home instead because of extremely cold weather

The polar vortex  hitting US cities has made some police departments affected by the deep freeze to use social media to ask criminals to take a break from committing crimes and stay at home until the weather improves. Temperatures are around 9 degrees and sub zero in some states.

According to this NBCnews report, in Taneytown, Maryland the police department wrote on Facebook on Wednesday "Those thinking about doing some crime tonight, its really super cold outside and only getting colder. So instead of crime we suggest staying at home and doing the following"they suggested watch Netflix, read a book with some hot chocolate or watch old reruns of COPS. Lol

In Warrensburg, Missouri the police asked it as a favour "at least for the next three days" for criminal activities to be kept to the minimum because "it is REALLY cold out...stay inside... be nice to each other". And this time they suggested watching Say Yes to the Dress which their fire-fighting brother policemen say is a good show. Lols
