Legendary Tuface Idibia, aka Tubaba, has come under attack from his fans and fellow Nigerians for endorsing Pa Ikhide's critism of Africans for still believing in the bible and "whiteman's God". Pa Ikhide, real name Ikhide Ikheloa, is a literary critic and posted the critism on his Facebook page.
This is his controversial post below
"Unpopular opinion: The bible is a great work of
fiction, a tool of oppression created by feuding brothers to oppress women,
children and the vulnerable. It is homophobic and racist and to the extent that
white slave hunters prayed over captured warriors from West Africa with the
bible before they were shipped off to be slaves, it boggles my mind that an
African would look at that bible and not hiss in disgust. Their God looked away
during the middle passage as millions of Africans perished during the slave
trade. We had our own religion before the coming of the white man. What is
wrong with us? We are our own slaves. Onugo of my people lives in me.
"Open your eyes. Nonsense.
"Good morning."
Tubaba supported by reposting it on his IG page with the following caption
"Africa Wake up#openyourmind #openyoureyes #ONELOVERELIGION Emancipate yourself from mental slavery."
He has since been under fire by reactions of his fans and Nigerians who thinks he is making a caricature of the bible. Although a serious few supported the A-list star. Read the comments at LIB.
The Seriously trending Beyonce's album of The Lion King : The Gift
Beyonce has revealed the tracklist of her latest and seriously trending album 'The Lion King : The Gift' and in it we just see that Beyonce is the gift that keeps giving. The album to be released on the same day as the remake of popular flick The Lion King, where Beyonce voiced Nala, features six Nigerian pop stars including Yemi Alade, Burnaboy, Mr Eazi, Tecno, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage and Ghana’s Shatta Wale. Kenya artiste Victoria Kimani has called out Beyonce here for not including Kenyan musicians. While Nigerians seem to be trolling Davido for not being featured in the magnificient Beyonce album.
