Polio vaccination for 2020 begins in the FCT

It's that time of the year again when schools send out consent letters and health workers knock on your door as the first round of the 2020 National Immunisation Plus Days (NIPDs) starts in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with a flag off ceremony by the Minister of State for the FCT, Dr. Ramatu Aliyu, held on Friday at Dutse Makaranta.

As 976,003 eligible children are expected to be immunised this year, the Minister urged cooperation amongst all stakeholders to ensure success and continued eradication of poliomyelitis from the FCT.
