According to Punch newspaper, the AGF has made a U-turn concerning his claim that international oil companies (IOCs) owe $62bn to Nigeria due to some parts of the Production Sharing Contracts neglected by past administrations.
With this U-turn, Shell in turn has withdrawn its suit aginst the FG but an estimated N23.5tn is left unrecovered and may affect infrastructure projects like the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Kano-Abuja Expressway and the 2nd Niger Bridge.
