The Academic Staff Union of Universities has presented an alternative to the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System to senior management of the Ministry of Educated and the National Universities Commission.
The alternative called University Transparency and Accountability Solution is now ready for integrity test, says the national president of ASUU, Prof Biodun Ogunyemi. He made this known at a press conference at the University of Abuja, Gwagwalada campus attended by almost all national officers of ASUU.
ASUU earlier gave the FG 18 months timeframe to develop, test and deploy UTAS. Read more details at the Vanguard.
