Despite NNPC's cautions, Ques resurfaces at filling stations in Abuja and it's environs.

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) residents and it's environs on Tuesday expressed worry over the return of long queues of anxious motorists at filling stations in the city since late Monday.

It was not clear what the cause of the latest queues was, as the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) management had allayed fears of possible fuel scarcity, saying that the distribution of Petroleum products are minimal as a result of imposed curfews in some states across the country, and its expected that normalcy in petrol supply Will be restored soon. Meanwhile, a source close to the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) made it known that the queues at filling stations were a reaction by motorists anticipating a possible disruption in fuel supply prior to the expiration of the Friday deadline to government by PENGASSAN, as they intend to embark on a strike.
