The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) disclosed on Tuesday that the average price for refilling five kilogrammes (5kg) cylinder of Cooking Gas decreased slightly to N1,953.71 in October from N1974.67 in September.
The NBS revealed this on its "Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Cooking Gas) Price Watch’’ for October obtained from its website on Tuesday in Abuja. Adding that various prices were collected across all the 774 local governments in the states of federation, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), in which Gas refill prices were cheap in some states and costlier in some other states, from over 10,000 respondents and locations.
