A House of Representatives member, Sani Galadima, representing Kaura Namoda Federal Constituency of Zamfara State, has been ordered by the Federal High Court in Abuja, on Wednesday, to produce Faisal Abdulrasheed, son of Abdulrasheed Maina, by December 4.
The court gave the ultimatum to the lawmaker saying he is at risk of being jailed if he is unable to produce the defendant or show cause on why he should not forfeit the N60 million he pledged when he declared himself Faisal’s surety. Faisal who was released and granted bail in December 2019, is being prosecuted on money laundering related offences by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
