Following Saturday's killing of 43 Rice Farmers in Zabarmari, Borno State, the All Farmers' Association of Nigeria (AFAN) has asked the Federal Government to defoliate and bulldoze Sambisa forest to the ground as it is now an insurgents'haven.
In their Statement, they also highlighted the effect of the recent unfortunate slaying of farmers as it portends disaster for food system in the country. "Farmers are now very scared to go to their farms to do dry season farming."
