The Special Ministerial Task Force on Transportation has said it will start prosecuting Okada Riders alongside their patronisers in Kubwa, Abuja, two days from now.
Mr Peter Olumuji, Field Coordinator of the task force, made this known on Tuesday in Abuja. Olumuji explained that residents of Kubwa had been complaining seriously about the recklessness of the riders in the area. He said, anyone who patronises the Okada riders would be seen to be aiding and abetting illegality. Hence, both operators and people that patronise them assumed to be guilty and liable to prosecution accordingly.
