Nigerians are urged by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, to be weary of festivities such as Christmas carols and also warned against non-essential travels as the year winds down. This is to ensure that the spread of the novel, COVID-19 was effectively contained.
The Presidential Task Force also warns Nigerians abroad to remain wherever they are or stand the risk of being stranded in the country in the event that the Government takes a decision on international travels. The call formed the theme of the speeches of the Chairman of the PTF, Boss Mustapha; the national coordinator, Sani Aliyu; the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire; and the Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Chikwe Ihekweazu, at the weekly briefing of the task force in Abuja on Monday.
