Actress Omotola trademarks her first name, Nigerians react

Actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has trademarked her first name, Omotola.

 She disclosed this on her Twitter handle with a caption, “OMOTOLA” is now Trademarked.'' This has got many Nigerians questioning if they now trade mark a common name? This is because, the name "Omotola" is a common popular name amongst Nigerians from the Western part of the country.
