Eight kidnapped victims have been rescued from bandits by security operatives attached to the Kaduna State Police Command, along Galadimawa Kidandan Area of Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
A statement from Public Relations Officer in the state, Mohammed Jalige, today, Tuesday March 30 said the victims were abducted along the Kaduna-Zaria Expressway as they boarded a luxury bus on February 29, 2021, by the bandits. One AK-49 rifle was recovered from the bandits who ran away, leaving the riffle and their victims behind. Efforts are being made to capture the bandits while the victims are currently at hospital for medical treatment.
