The father of one of the 39 abducted college students in Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation in the Afaka area of Kaduna State, Ibrahim Shamaki, is dead as announced by a human rights Activist, Chidi Odinkalu, on his Twitter handle.
Ibrahim was the father of Fatima Shamaki, one of the girls with hijab seen in the video that was released by bandits who abducted the students and have held them in custody for 15 nights now. Family sources, said late Shamaki died of a heart attack resulting from an illness that afflicted him shortly after the news of his daughter’s abduction was broken to him.
