In less than 24 hours after he was quoted as saying otherwise, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffery Onyeama, has denied reports claiming he listed conditions Twitter must meet before the temporary suspension of its operations in Nigeria can be lifted.
The Minister held a meeting in Abuja with the envoys of the US, UK, Canada and the European Union who had earlier condemned the “indefinite” suspension of Twitter in Nigeria and was quoted as saying FG will lift the Twitter Ban if the platform can be used "reponsibly".
