In a statement released today June 30. Kingsley Kanu, brother of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), said Kenyan authorities arrested and detained his brother until he was extradited to Nigeria.
He called on the British High Commission in Nigeria to insist upon his brother’s immediate release as both Nigeria and Kenya must be held to accountable for the serious crime of Extraordinary Rendition committed when Kenyan handed Nnamdi Kanu over the Nigerian Authorities against the rule of law.
