While some people like the President's Aide are defending the National Assembly NASS in their vote against Electronic Transmission of Election Results in the country, some senior lawyers have said the decision needs to be taken with a pinch of salt as it raises suspicion of a hidden agenda.
In the words of the senior members of the Nigerian Bar Association NBA, “The senators and our lawmakers in general are trying to make laws that benefit them at the moment. *As far as I am concerned, not electronically transmitting these election results is a terribly myopic way of thinking. It is sad that people just make decisions or laws based on how they suit them."
