Google's latest Child-protection features

Google will now allow parents to delete their children's pictures that come up in its search results online. It will also change the type of adverts that children see online because instead of allowing advertisers use the last visited websites to target children, they will be restricted to using only basic bio-data info like age, gender, location, etc to design their adverts targeted at children. Google says this is important as it is now realising that children may not have the mental power to resist adverts that target them based on the last places of interest they visited online. Also, overly commercial content will be removed from the children's version of Youtube. These decisions of Google are believed to be influenced by criticism from government and child-safety advocates and the changes will be implemented across all of Google's products just like Facebook's.
