Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 1,149
as the latest number of COVID-19 cases recorded in the country. This figure is the highest in a day since
February 16 when 1,572 cases were reported. Total recorded cases now 184593
with 2236 deaths. The cases occurred in fifteen states and Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. The
breakdown accordingly are
Lagos 680, Rivers 157, Akwa Ibom 94,
Oyo 56, Edo 36, Abuja 34, Ogun 31, Ekiti 20, Delta 16, Abia 5, Nasarawa 5, Osun 5,
Cross River 4, Plateau 3, Sokoto 2, Kano 1.
