A magistrate court in Lagos State has ordered the thirty days remand in prison of Chidinma Ojukwu, the prime suspect in the murder of the late Super TV CEO, Utaga Usifo. According to the Police, "The remand is to enable the DPP to come up with legal advice." The Police Prosecutor is asking for the remand for thirty days at the first instance. The Magistrate, allowing the request ordered the remand then adjourned the case to September 5th for review of the DPP's advice. Another defendant, one Adedayo Quadri was also remanded.
