In Kubwa: Wife of late President Shehu Shagari has died at a hospital in Abuja from COVID-19

According to a statement signed on behalf of the family of the late President Shehu Shagari, his widow Hajiya Hadiza Shehu Shagari, has died at a hospital in Abuja on Thursday from COVID-19 complications. “We lost her in the early hours of today, 12th August 2021, at about 3:00 am, after battling Covid-19 at the Gwagwalada Isolation Center in Abuja,” they said. She was aged 80 years.
