with Nigerians dominating the scene as Best Male & Female (Davido &
Tiwa Savage) Artistes, Artist of the
Year (Davido), Best Director (Clarence
Peters), were among the numerous awards won and brought home.
#2 Keffi’s Death.
On a sad note, Keffi’s death was the most shocking talked about story
this week. The Branama singer was aged – and died on Denrele’s birthday, from
the same condition that killed Goldie.
#3 The 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The opening ceremony was a chore with poor sound quality but
the matches have since piqued our interest and everyone is still talking about
the Flying Dutchman – Robin Van Persie. We hope to see Another Flying Dutchman Production...
#4 RMD’s dramatic weight loss.
After Professor Dora Akunyili’s death, we get anxious when a
celebrity suddenly loses so much weight. But RMD has assured us he wants to
keep looking good as he ages and that that’s the only reason he is deliberately
losing weight. Thank God.
