The Minster of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, in an interview with news media houses in Abuja has announced the commencement of a special radio service for reaching fulani herdsmen.
The new radio, with Amplitude Modulation broadcast license (AM) will operate on 720KHz and air in Fulani language.
The Federal Goverment believes this is one of the viable medium to reach the target population for nomadic education, social mobilisation and enhanced capacity to address crisis between herdsmen and farmers. Read it at Punch.
